I only like CRK's now...

Don't worry you're not the Lone Ranger. I carry my CRK's about 98% of the time. Chris set the bar a little too high for other

knife companies, that's a good thing tho!

I'm addicted, with no end in sight. Wait 'til you have enough CRK's to carry a different 1 for a couple of weeks or more. It's

hard not to play favorites. :D:)

Sold off most of my Spydercos after a few days I got my first Small Sebenza. I now only have one Spyderco left and it's just sitting inside my pelican case. :D

I had several spyderco's and benchmade's and a few customs before I got my first CRK. Sold the customs and a couple of the others. I only carry a benchmade or spyderco if I am painting, drywall, or doing something that I know will hammer the knife.

Sometimes I wish I could settle on just one brand. I love my Sebenzas and carry them a great deal. I do not however desire to carry / own them exclusively; there's too many nice knives in the world for that. I also collect watches and see a lot of collectors limit themselves to one brand. I have my favorite brands that dominate the collection but wouldn't want to own just Rolex or just Omega or just Breitling, etc. YMMV. On a related note, I pulled out the entire collection this weekend just to see what I had... ended up being 45 knives, with 3 more being made by various custom makers as we speak, lol.

I have sold almost all my custom fixed blades as I just never used them. I ended up keeping a very nice Matt Bailey as a hunting knife. Then kept all my Esee knives 3,4,5,6 and a junglas as they are great knives to beat on and just not feel bad about. Also kept a TGLB Busse. As Far as folders go....I have lots of spydercos as they serve the same purpose as my Esee, i can beat them and not feel bad, especially the H1 blades. Im now refining my whole "COLLECTING" knives to be gentleman folders....hence why I am picking up rare and non production CRK's. Also have a few old school lone wolf paul series knives, william henry, and have my eyes on getting an Alan Davis.

When it comes down to it for me the Micarta 21 is the be all end all edc and if I had to would be fine with just that knife for the rest of my life. But I'm a knife addict and can't simply live this life with one knife :)

Now that I finally have a CRK I have been eyeballing the Sage and GB from Spyderco a lot. I still haven't owned a strider or ANY ZT knife, so I can't really say the CRK killed my desire for other knives....I guess time will tell!

I feel your pain... I bought my first CRK a few months ago... sold everything else and now all I can really buy is CRK... all I can justify spending more than $100 on is a CRK. lol. I really like the Benchmade 943BK and the Liong Mah Warrior 1, but I can't get myself to bite the bullet. Perhaps I may soon get the benchmade simply because it is one I have always wanted, and for the price it is more justifiable than the liong mah which is 350. For that I keep telling myself I could always get a small sebenza. lol. It is a sickness I tell ya!

Spydercos and CRKs are my staples, but mainly CRKs. I carry the Spydercos as abuse-users when necessary. While I like certain components of other knife brands, I find a perfect whole knife in CRKs. Recently I've considered selling half of my non CRKs. That's about 20 knives.

You all have some good insight about this. I hadn't really considered some of these points.

I will try not to see my other knives through CRK eyes, but to appreciate them in their own right.

I still welcome your comments and opinions. I see more CRK's in my future... :)

I have come down with the Sevenza bug as well. Sold off a lot of my modest collection to go for quality over quantity. Picked up a small Sebenza for edc purposes and love it. I must admit I'm still in love with my Paramilitary 2 though. There's plenty of room for a side piece :D

CRK makes a fantastic knife in a refined yet practical package. And while I love my 21 (and want a small), I've learned never to swear off anything. I'm a fan of variety and options.
I agree with this guy. Nothing wrong with other knives to add to collection. I do like my first and only CRK tho. :)

I'm close. I still carry strider in my bdu's and in my gym bag but in real clothes it's my large plain Jane 21. It's my favorite knife.

I had a 21 for a while. Had to pick one up because of all the hype.. Nice knfe i'll agree.. Overpriced tho. Not nearly as bad as Medford, but still way too proud of a simple square edged titanium sandwich.. I was impressed by the return on the money spent tho, traded it for a(nother) Glock 21 - much more bang for the buck for me.

Also, if this forum is anything like BCUSA, I just got banned for my opinion, so...
