it hasn't arrived! I ordered in the 16th, confirmation by means of e-mail arrived on 3:20PM 17 February 2009, and here I am, sitting in Detroit, waiting for a knife I spent a fair chunk of me tax return on! :grumpy: This is a most troubling predicament.

Yes, I put the order information in right.

Yes, I contacted the company. I asked for my UPS Tracking code (which I never effing got), and someone responded saying "You have it. UPS sent you an e-mail." That's great, expect they didn't send me an e-mail, WHICH IS WHY I CONTACTED Y'ALL.

So what the heck? Money does not show as having been taken from my bank account, so what the Hell is going on? I've had the bank update their shit slow before, but it's been SEVEN DAYS! I don't mind a longish shipping time, but I specifically checked UPS and they quoted me a "1 day" shipping time via UPS ground for the travel from Indiana to Detroit.

???

Someone people calm me down.

I hear ya. I get a little antsy when my orders don't arrive on time.

Sounds like this order has gone completely AWOL. They claim the knife has been delivered, but the money hasn't left your account. Sounds to me like they have lost your order and are confusing it with another.

I would check with your bank to see if you can block transactions from this vendor to ensure they don't try to withdrawl at a later date, then order your A1 from a different supplier.

The A1 is a fantastic knife, well worth having and waiting for, but you shouldn't be getting jerked around.

Not sure if this has calmed you down at all, but take a deep breath, a messed up delivery isn't worth poppin' a coronary over, especially if you haven't been charged for the knife. There are much more important things in life, like ordering another one. :D

Note: I haven't dealt with this particular seller, but I have purchased many knives from the US, including Fallkniven's, and have had no difficulties, so there are lots of great sellers out there who will treat you right.

You might want to go back and edit out some of your words as this is really not the place to use such language. Just thought I would let you know.

I was reading the Whine & Cheese bit and just assumed it was acceptable. Ooops.

Some vendors are faster than others. I have bought from knifeoutlet before. IIRC, they were somewhat slower than others I have used. But I did get what I ordered.

Yeah, I figure they've just been slow to process it. Still getting worried, I can't really afford to get screwed out of $165 :D

I purchased my A1 through New Graham for $145 and some change. It arrived to Indiana in 2 days.

I did the same thing and got it in 2 days also. Now I am searching for a left handed A-1 sheath. Annie with New Graham is trying to hook me up with one.

I've been waiting since the 2nd for mailing out for my $50.00 knife. I'm being patient after all it's just $50 although I did sale two great knives to get this one, and I really after all don't need another knife! I must admit SSK out of OK has me spoiled!

Don't bitch that much about waiting a few days for an order to arrive... lol. I live in Spain, so I am used to that (when ordering international I mean).

Anyway, I feel your pain and I hope it arrives soon. I have the little brother of the A1 (the F1) and it is a great knife. The A1 has to be great as well.
