Anyone here have a condor golok with leather sheath?

Im wondering the widest blade that sheath might take. I see the sheath for sale separate and the condor golok has the same blade length as my chopper from Giedymin and until i can get a baldric sheath made for it, the condor sheath might could hold me over so i still have a sheath to take it out.

Anyone have one and could take a quick measurement for me?

Round heah, theah refeahed to as "bob-houses". Somewhere in these United States is a town that exists only in the winter on a frozen lake, and consists almost entirely of very fancy bob-houses. Might be in Minnesota; can't figure out the right query for google. They elect a mayor and town council. Wish I could find it.

OK, now I am imagining you look like the Gorton's Fisherman and talk like the Pepperidge Farm guy.. :p

Happy belated Crimson and Happy in advance WW! Hope you had/have enjoyable days

No, but I keep looking at the Boomslang and the Warlock. Really should just stop looking at BF, period. Makes me think about knives all the time. I don't need any more knives, but that is not killing the ganas......

I hear you there.. I see a knife, want it, start thinking about what I would like to do with it, reminds me I don't have enough time to have fun with the knives I have already, makes me sad, look at knives so I am not sad anymore.... rinse and repeat.

I think this is going to be my avatar when I get home from work.

Funny, I was just in the home town of Gorton's yesterday: Gloucester, MA. I nice little drinking town with a fishing problem. It's pronounced "Gloss-tah" BTW.
Aside: there used to be a funky local NH band named "Bob house".

Also, I look more like Mr. Clean. And my Great, great grandfather Max Ostwald. I'll have tom post up the two pics sometime. It's freaky.

Exactly.

Happy Thirstday, everyone!

Please think a happy thought for Angie... she's already working ridiculous hours and it just got worse. Her office manager is out on medical leave for several months (surprise! cancer), another gal just stormed out and quit in a huff, and the woman that gal was arguing with will probably get fired (she kinda sucks anyway, this isn't the first trouble she's been in). Being down three experienced employees is not good in an office of only 7 or 8 people. :(

I work in a tiny office like that. Wow, that would suck. There is no easy way to cover those duties.
Ours is going through a few staff/executive management changes which is going to significantly increase my workload as well as the workload of the office manager. So I can relate with her.

stitching sucks, but it's so rewarding when you are done with it!

just got me a new BK24!!! woohoo gotta love that new becker steel smell :D

Mixed up some mayo and sriracha with a little bit of sweet baby rays and jalapeno mustard and made some tuna fish... damn it was good!

You killed it with mayo.

So you put all that on tuna.... but NO beans in chili ???

Texans are weird HAHA j/k

The opening on the throat of the Condor Golok sheath is almost dead on 2 1/4 inches wide.

It's a lot more fun when someone else does the work :D

Angie's a lot like me... Scorpio, detail-oriented, never satisfied with her own work. It's kinda funny actually... she always gets pissed when I say "honey, that looks great!" and then she points out little flaws no one else would probably even notice.

Pretty much every sheath or knife we've ever made has been thrown across the room in frustration at one point or another.

Of course, she chuckles at me when I do the same thing with a grind or blade finish. "DADBLASTIT, there's a scratch!!! I can SEE it! It's mocking me!!" ... "Yes dear... that's OK. Relax."

;)

You rock bro!! Thanks man!!

Well the blade on this chopper is literally right between 2 1/4" and 2 5/16" wide at the widest point...... Man that might be cutting it real real close... Or cutting it all up, one or the other...

The worst part is, I'm doing a lot more cooking and cleaning, and I may even be forced to learn how to stitch my sheaths :grumpy:

;)

It builds character....so suck it up, buttercup! ;)

Your wife is finding out that the reward for being a good worker is....more work. Hopefully things calm down quickly and they can get some help to replace the lady that quit and some "good" help to replace the one that will likely get canned.

And now, if I haven't burned the bridge, did you ever get my e-mail about the possibility of an ElMax boning knife with ironwood scales?
