  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I pulled the trigger...

Sounds like Derrick (okbohn) will be getting these this week, which means they will ship out to us by Friday.

Can't wait to get it.

 I thought when I ordered that they were in stock! Guess not! :grumpy:

No worries though :)...Im glad I got in on these, and cant wait to put it through its paces.

Im not crazy about the leather though...Its a slick design, alot like the sabot rig for the Bravo1, but I like Kydex for a necker. :o Something I dont need to worry about in the water, or in my pocket, as thats where my neckers seem to be carried most of the time.....I just dont rock that small of a blade on my hip.

I do love that you can store some stuff under the scales!! Im gonna have to get me a set at some point if(when) I get tired of the cord wrap.

Id love to see a sheath like the one for the PSKs....With the notch for storing some paracord, but the firesteel carry on this one is sweet.

I love the looke of that blade but especially like that you can get handles on (with/for) it. Every time I get a knife with no scales I end up selling it or putting scales on it after trying to use it.

I hear ya Jeff.

Havent heard from ya in awhile. Hope things are good brother.

Thanks, JW. I have been taking some time to lurk.
Trying to wrangle time to contribute more here and in sheaths.
Looking at a long-shot career proposition that could help that.

Good to see some familiar faces posting still.

Looking forward to your pics and review:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Resistance is futile my west coast brotha. FUTILE. ;)

I just got my red one in the mail.

Very sharp.

Coating is rougher than Izula or Swamp Warden. Secure grip but feels a little strange.

If it were 1/4" longer it would fit my hand better.

Here's a picture of an Izula, Bravo and Swamp Warden. SW is definitely bigger. Izula is slightly longer, mostly in the blade length (the two blades aren't quite lined up). The SW is thicker and the other two are very close in thickness. Red sheath for SW is by Rainwalker.

Mine didnt show today, so im sure it will tommarow...

Rough coating? Hmm.....

Any pics, in hand etc. HD?

My coating is noticeably smoother than my Izula. The handle is a bit small, but a parcord wrap took car of that immediately.

I think it is my new favorite necker.::):

Mine showed up today! Red knife with Black G10 handles. The leather spine lock sheath is a great accessory. Fits my Izuala nicely too. Not sure how I feel about the kydex yet. Doesn't seem to fit my knife very well unless the handles are on or the firesteel is also in it. I also need to get some sandpaper and smooth the edges a bit. Because of the coating they couldn't finish the handle slabs with the normal method. Also my handle screws have a brown hue to them. One more than the other.

Overall I'm pleased though. The size is nice and I'm sure it will perform like all my other Barkies.

Sorry for the crappy pic. No sun today and theres no good lighting in my apartment.

Exactly a 1/4" is just what I was thinking. I can get a good squeezing grip, but I think I would get a hot spot on my pinkie. Knife is pretty sweet though. I'm not sold on either the kydex or the leather. I'll have to play around with them for a bit, but I think I will make a more compact sheath in the very near future.

Anyways, I got a tan blade with coyote g10 slabs. I will try and get some pics done tonight.

Awesome Jake :D

You know I'm a big fan of the Bravo line too . I'm probably going to pick up the necker at some point, then all I'll need will be the Bravo-2 and Bravo-3 :D

I look forward to your review bud.
