Well I am going through my e mail for the first time since wed am. Yall tell me. I have a guy that bought a knife from me before Christmas time. He is now selling the knife. Now he says the knife is no good because he has not been able to sell it for the price he wants. He even sent e mails on how much he liked it when he got it. Also he offered $450 for the knife and I said no $400 is fine. The guy has had the knife for months. He is even sending e mails on what he is going to post about me and how I ripped him off. The story now is he was just being a good guy not to tell me it was no good when he got it. Come on really has anyone ever heard a story like this before.
Sitting here amaized.

LOL....thats one of the most entertaining (or stupidist) things I have ever heard. Tell him to go ahead and post nasty things about you...and watch it back fire on his a$$.

Seriously, dont worry one bit about this moron...nobody will take that kind of crap seriously.

I have read enough good things about you from people I respect to know that you have nothing to worry about.

Sounds like the gent bought something out of his price range and now wants his money back. Thats his problem, not your's, Ed.

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Ed, once he received the knife and inspected it, and emailed you that he would take it, it's his. End of story.
Your reputation will stand for itself.

He needs to learn patience. If a knife doesn't sell immediately, there are two things he can do....reduce the price, or wait a while and re-post it. It's amazing what a week or two's wait can do. I have posted knives and had little or no interest. Then, a week later, I get tons of interest.

On higher end knives especially, it's a matter getting the post seen by an interested party.

But, yes I would say he's being a jackass about it. After he's had it for 3 days or so, it's tough t*tty. He owns it.

Don't sweat it Ed..........

Hey ED,

Do me a favor, and send the dude an e-mail for me, giving him my offer of $14 for this knife, "sight un-seen".

Thank You for your support. I think he has calmed down now. I told him to take his time selling it. I just kinda wondered if anyone else had run into this kind of problem before.
