Trollsky, what you did is really cool. I think it is wise to add a disclaimer though, that recycling steel requires greater skill than using a known steel. Many new makers come to these sites, and think they can take some shortcuts by using lawnmower blades, files, or other items and make a knife out of them, and have no idea what type of steel it is or how to heat treat it. I love the idea of recycling, but is isn't for beginners.
