I mean I know not all of you are office workers. The majority of you do get dirt grime and scratches on your knives dont you? Or is this place like 1911.com and Ar15.com where safe queen's rule?
If im out of bounds my bad.

Ive used it for shaving down wood. Splintering wood. Cutting rope, twine, food, plastic, cardboard etc...

Cutting stuff like cardboard, light prying in heavy plastics or packaging, fun throwing at the stack of cut cardboard boxes, usual stuff

Cutting and cutting. I don't use my knives as a screwdriver or pry bar.

I use my knives for cutting.

I don't use them for digging, prying, hammering, as screwdrivers, or paperweights.

If there's anything I haven't used a knife for, that a knife is capable of doing, it's only because the opportunity hasn't presented itself.

I don't use my knives as much as my obsession demands. My true demands are dishearteningly low. Opening packages, letters, cutting threads, I have a dedicated food prep Opinel no. 10 for cutting my steaks n apples, etc.

I don't own any safe queens, but it is not uncommon for my knife to be used only once a day

everything a particular knife is designed for.

for example..... i don't use a folder to baton wood and chop stuff and as a pry bar or screwdriver. i don't use a fish knife for tasks other than filleting fish and such. basically i use the right tool for the job. likewise with all my tools. proper tool use and common sense isn't so common anymore, then again maybe it never was.........

Yesterday my knife helped fix the AC control wire the dogs chewed through....

This was before it was used to scrape some gasket material off of some parts from the neighbors RV we are putting back together. Don't remember if that was before or after it opened my latest can of dip or not...

Also after the food thread and this, I can honestly say I think you're just trying too hard for attention

When I am stuck in a long line at a big box store, bank, restaurant..I repeatedly wave my Emerson while giving the person in front of me the "thousand yard stare".

The line quickly gets shorter. [emoji6]
