I Spotted a Few Fiddlebacks I really like Today.

That is the stash for Blade Show, the Blade Show Fiddleback Friday posting and the following Fiddleback friday posting. We will need 120 knives in that stash by then. Plus the production knives, and our goal is to have 4 production models on the table by Blade Show.

Thanks guys, I edited a few more pics into the first post. Rain tomorrow, so I am heading out to get better acquainted with the new equipment...

I'll take this set! And the BC Jr.

Yeah, those two were stunning! But ummm...had there been one BC Jr ready yesterday, I would have put up my best argument for it and offered more money if needs be. Lol, I had been trying to get Andy to make the BC Jr for almost two years, I will definitely snag the first one I can. But I'm not going to complain at all, I did come away with a beautiful Bushcrafter, tapered 5/32, Buckeye burl over natural with orange pin stripes, and outstanding spalting, to replace the one I had to sell to survive the winter a year ago.

4 production models by Blade!!!! Awesome.

I guess it must be the angle. Is the one 2nd row down and 3rd from the left an Arete then?

Nice. Buckeye burl is one of my favorite burls. Pics?

Now, that is a sweet Bushcrafter.
I am sure you will put it to good use as always.

Oh man, that pic is only like the 200th shot with a new camera that I am still getting used to. This pic does not do the knife justice at all. It is gorgeous. And definitely will be put to good use :)

Okay. So there are definitely several blades from this bunch I'd be all over, BUT where where where is the Padre!!!
Oh, and a guardless Ladyfinger would be sweet as well :D

Well...there may be some Gauchos available later, but I think the only way we may get a Padre is if someone somehow manages to talk Vance out of his... Since Andy doesn't do them anymore, I was just wondering how hard it would be to mid-tech the Padre...

I'll admit that a stainless Padre is the #1 knife that I am hoping to see at my first and probably only chance to go to Blade.

I am enjoying your great photos nonetheless. Lots of beautiful woods, but very light on burlap options.

Phil

Does anyone know why Andy doesn't make the Padre anymore ?

I know I would definitely put one to good use, and would be tripping over my shark fins to snag one, much like Phil and others have expressed.

The Fiddleback World needs more Padres.......please Andy.....surprise us !
