On a serious note, not being able to actually get a knife in your hand before you buy makes it a little hard I think. If you're lucky maybe you live close to one of the big knife stores. For the rest of us you're buying just from internet pics and reviews. Sometimes they just don't feel good, or as good as you thought they were going to in hand.
I don't buy that many knives, and I have a pretty good idea of what I like. It's just when I get one, and I find something not exactly the way I want, it's back to the drawing board. I have one more on order that I'm waiting for. Fingers crossed that will be THE ONE.
