I think I'm cured !!

I think if you have lost interest is because you never had anything good that you even valued. If you ever have something that GREAT, like some of the rest of us, I don't know how on earth you can just can ever let it go... I know of people that would never sell a CG stripped used meaner no matter what! I know someone that would never let go of a SAR3 because it was his first knife... I know someone that won't sell their CGFBM because it was his first Busse he bought at a show...
I think you will value it more if you try harder to get it. And by that, means work. When was the last time you messaged someone about knife because of a picture or a Busse that was mentioned in a thread? Inquired about knives that was not listed for sale? When was the last someone you really tried for a knife, sending PMs and emails asking someone that you knew wasn't going to give up a knife? I know I have many many times. Going after the ones that aren't for sale and impossible to obtain, now there is a challenge. Then paying an arm and leg to get it if a price is even thrown at you... That's when you find a knife you won't let go. If it's just handed to you, you aren't going to appreciate it.
It seems some people don't realize what they have till it's gone...

I think I have reached the same plateau - let's have a pint or three

I don't know man, I can't believe I am saying this but Jerry needs to bring something innovative out and I'm not talking milling a handle tang to reduce weight and putting some rubber cushioning in place. Don't get me wrong I love Busse knives but we need to see something new !!

the man's gotta a point. what do ya think about an entry tool for tough bread, or something i can spread the leastin's toast with butter.

I've got a dozen or so, at first I was overwhelmingly compelled to cover what I considered to be the basics.
It was like I was Hyp-No-Tized.
Now, I 'm comfortable just watching the exchange and biding my time.
If something really cool were to pop up, I'd probably still add to my collection.

If that doesn't make you feel something, you aren't cured...you're dead.

was the cure, then i swaddled it's belly with firm cautious lust.

it has been down hill ever since.

the coating and handle feel like sandpaper. very secure grip with the combo.

I agree with that. Seems like with all the waiting we do, just once Jerry needs to "BAM!!" new knife us, out of no where. You get all excited over the new sneak peak only to find out its something you're not interested in four months later.

How quickly we forget...

...The entire SAR series, B11, High Street, Nuke EDC, BOSS Street, BOSS Jack, HACK Bear Cub, Ruck Kensei, MOABs, SFNOLE, Game Wardens, NMFBM & NMSFNO, etc, etc...

Most of these appeared with minimal time from sneak peek to ordering and/or delivery whether through Busse or the BCS.

As for something new over milled out, altered, whatever, well...I'm excited about the new "I"NFI Beam models. Especially the Team Gemini...

Cured?? I think you dudes are LOCO -there are about 10 variations on an armload of knives that I must have :eek:

That said, if you are at peace, "gunga lagunga" ;)

I agree with Jaxx, absolutely...

I think we are way too much spoilt with Jerry's new offerings.
..iconic blade revivals (SFNO, BOSS JACK..), options -I mean OPTIONS (choil choilless, colours...etc) and so on...
There are quite a few blades in the last wave of INFI which are some of the most usable-desirable designs came out so far.

Brendan, I feel you, as I'm more of a knife lover-user than a collector, and I've felt my hunger for INFI is not so strong- I'm more patient now. Saying that, I could not follow the uptempo, how these new offerings came out - missed the SAR6, badly - but I just received my Choilless BOSS Jack yesterday...it will stay with me long, I feel.

I am not interested in "extremes" like the MOAB and some freaking thick Mother Of KillaZilla's...or whatever, but I applaud for the "practical twist" what Busse Combat executed in these days.

The BWM LE , CABS LE and CLBOSSJ LE in black paper is my "grail trio"

After nearly 10 years of chasing INFI I have come to realize that the chase is most of the fun. I've been through maybe 50 or so Busse & kin blades. Kept a few, traded or sold most !!

I don't have the thirst anymore !!

What the hell is wrong with me ?

Nothing. Congratulations.

I'm going to have to agree with Jaxx here. I think all the knives Busse has brought so far have been great offerings. Everyone asked for the SHSJ and we call know they won't reproduce the exact same knife so they brought the Boss Jack. Now they offered it in so many different variations from the thinner version, to coated, satin, full convexed coated blade and the prices just can't be beat!
And after a death chat and much asking, Busse is bringing the MUK...
You can't please all the people all of the time, but I think lots of people are taking lots of offerings for granted. Everyone wants a specific knife that should be made just for them. Busse makes knives trying to make as many people happy as possible but you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time.
So I would like to tell and thank everyone at Busse, I think they are doing an outstanding job!
