I think I'm cured !!

How quickly we forget...

...The entire SAR series, B11, High Street, Nuke EDC, BOSS Street, BOSS Jack, HACK Bear Cub, Ruck Kensei, MOABs, SFNOLE, Game Wardens, NMFBM & NMSFNO, etc, etc...

Most of these appeared with minimal time from sneak peek to ordering and/or delivery whether through Busse or the BCS.

As for something new over milled out, altered, whatever, well...I'm excited about the new "I"NFI Beam models. Especially the Team Gemini...

IIIIINFI!!!!!!!

I agree! They are doing an outstanding job at bringing some of the best knives to ever come out of the Busse shop in many years.

The only problem now is that I have a CABS which IMO is the best sub 5" blade out there. So good, in fact, that I have sold all the rest of my smaller blades with the exception of some ABA's which hold a very close second in that category for me and a few Cultie's.

I have a BOSS Jack LE which is every bit as good as an old SJ with a few improvements on the original.

And I have a B11 which is the most ideal big chopper for me. It has a blade almost as long as a NMFBM which allows me to baton large logs and for it's overall weight it chops like a beast.

So at this point they will have to really knock my socks off to get my blood pumping on a new knife.

Brendan, I understand where you are at and I think there are a lot of other "Old HOGS" that are in the same boat. I'm not an Old HOG but my interests have swayed to other areas recently but I still keep a close eye on this forum to see if there is another offering that just blows my mind. ;)

After nearly 10 years of chasing INFI I have come to realize that the chase is most of the fun. I've been through maybe 50 or so Busse & kin blades. Kept a few, traded or sold most !!

I don't have the thirst anymore !!

What the hell is wrong with me ?

Ten Years and you're no longer excited by my cooking? I think we may need a marriage counselor!!! LOL!

Don't fret my friend. . . There are MANY new models coming up that should get your juices flowing once again.

We have a project coming out of the HACK Shack that is sure to be a huge hit as well as several new blades in all of the lines that should prove to be invigorating.

All in all. . . . I think ten years at the same buffet is a pretty good run. . . . I'll do my best to put out some new dishes that will, hopefully, keep you interested for another 30 - 40 years. . . .

Let's Drink!

Jerry :D

My complaint about the muk is that I dont have it yet!! I have not been into collecting Busses for very long but I think recent offerings are great and useful designs

"Hogs do not feed when they are full.

In fact, when full, a hog's ambivalent attitude toward sustenance may appear alarmingly un-hog-like.

And yet the hog rests content, knowing sweet hunger will always return to inspire him, compelling him to seek out and seize that which makes him whole again.

The hog knows he is a hog and he is happy."

I can tell you what it is. You have some good users, and ............ more importantly, there has not been a new model in a few weeks!

That is usually all it takes!

Exactly!!! Hunger will always win in the end.

That, and gravity.

I think this just indicates that you've entered a terminal phase of your addiction. Just like alcoholism, when you first start your drinking career you can go through a case, no problem. Later, as you liver gives out, it takes less and less to get you buzzed. Same here, if you can't kick the habit, you'll die of Busseholism! :D :D
Ya gotta die of something though, so it might as well be Busseholism. :D

There are so many models and variations produced by Busse that Busse is a collector's wet dream. If I had the money to spare I could, and WOULD spend tens of thousands of dollars and probably still lust for more. It is only my income and expenses which keep me in check. I am somewhat envious of those Hogs who are able to drop that kind of cash at the shows. Now, where is that green with envy smiley? :D

I would love to go to Blade just to see what Jerry drops. Plus all the other makers new offerings. Talk about wet dream.

I just wish Australia was a little closer.

Myabe next year. Please post Pics if you can people. Ta.

This is starting to sound like banter one might hear in line waiting for a popular madam to open for the night.
