I've always been interested in the Pro Series line, but for some reason they've been growing on me recently.

I literally missed by 5 minutes the chance to get an almost new Turbulence for $275 (you read correctly). Somebody messaged the seller before me. So now I'm a sad panda.

PM'd Tim. Might as well get one direct. Haven't lusted after a blade like this in a very very long time. Anyone wanna tide me over with pics :D

I like the picture of the Turbulence on Ebosshoss.com
I've been waiting for the Pro Series Droid to come out.

There were three versions of the Pro Series Turbulence. There was the original with the Diamond Plate look on the scales, there was a model with Crossbones on the scales, and there was a smooth version. The original style was available from Tim. The other two were available from online dealers. I can only guess that the other two styles were made exclusively for the two dealers.

Are there any dealers who would have this in stock other than knifeart? They have one in the crossbones config.

Also is Tim done making these? or does he continuously make them?

I think that Knifeart had the exclusives on both the smooth and crossbones models. As far as the original diamond plated version goes, you may be able to find one on the forums. I don't think Tim is making more of these at the moment. As far as I know he does small runs of these knives. Your best bet is to just try and get in touch with Tim. You can also try Les Robertson. He's a reliable dealer.

I appear to have traced one down on another forum. If all goes as planned tomorrow I would have paid for a new unused Turbulence!

Paid for and getting shipped today. Hopefully will arrive next week without any hassles. Will post pics and vids for you guys. This forum doesn't get enough love imo.

Glad to hear you found one, Arjung:thumbup: Nice little Christmas score:D

Hope you enjoy it, get some pics up when it arrives.

Hi,

Happy New Year to all.

We had a few of the regular ones that Tim had made and we are very excited as we have our exclusive version of the Turbulence in process now- should be competed in a few months.

It will be in an all new handle design and all black DLC! Both handle and blade!

We will announce it here and it will be on our website as son as they start to get here.

Take care, all.

Are you going to have a table at the ECCKS in March Neil? I'll have to probably check them out there since you won't ship to NY state anymore. That kind of sucks because you sell some great knives.

Yes, it is a real shame about the New York situation- believe me, I wish it were different.

I will be at the ECCKS for sure- looking forward to meeting you and the other folks from the area as well.

Excellent. I will be sure to stop by. I'll have to talk to you about the shipping to NY. The crazy laws in act right now only pertain to Manhattan and it's surrounding burroughs. Shipping elsewhere in the state shouldn't be an issue.

well it arrived today finally and I love it! Got boned with $60 CAD in customs fees, but hey what can ya do?

Uploading an HD vid as I type.

Conrgrats!! It flips open crazy smooth doesn't it? The smoothest of all my Pro Series knives.

flips like a dream! I love it.

Just curious, any tips on maintaining that smoothness? I know on my sebenza I can easily take it apart and drop some grease in there. How would it work with IKBS?
