The same with my green, this bronze underwash they did really does neat things to the knife in different lights, that's for sure. I have carried mine every day, and it's done a lot of work already and I haven't hard to sharpen it once. McNees has their treatment of MagnaCut on lock, that's for sure.

I touched mine up after receiving it from the very generous seller. Just enough to give it a little more bite. You'd never notice it.
 
Interesting that the McNees is a hair heavier than the Umnumzaan but feels lighter in the hand. Different weight distribution and a wider profile, I guess.

The antique black with acid wash blade looks so good, but there was Les's 12DOC VECP, and the damascus Annual 31 is coming next week, and God only knows what else is coming for 12DOC... just at DLT, Hinderer and Vehement Knives are strong possibilities, and several other makers (Demko) or dealers (TAD) are doing 12DOC events now, too...

I'm never going to financially recover from all this.

You, sir, have a very inconvenient memory.

It's very easy to justify on rare things by telling yourself that if you needed to, you could sell it immediately for at least what you paid. Weirdly that excuse works on my wife, at least, it did when I asked about our participation in the Hinderer Black Friday release...

I remember that too. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it was the machinewise sonora was the folder. All he needed! I hope to see all of yall at the next KA meeting!!😂
