Whew! I was getting nervous there for a minute. Isn't a hog using a hog blade one of the signs of the apocalypse? A rat using a hog blade though is perfectly natural.

Thanks for the data. I just bought an SH-E last week and am very pleased. I also had a RW (sold today :grumpy: - another on the way ) so I may have to do some comparison testing myself. I have done some chopping and batonning w/ the SH-E and it did very well. So far so good. I guess my SH-E is only worth $20 now as well.

As for the differences in performance: do the blades have different profiles on them. Is the RW thinner? Did the RW have a penetrator tip? Just curious.

Those pics have me interested in an HD now. Hmmmmmmm? Thanks again.
