I don't know how I missed this. Probably in shock after Spark's Googleknife April Fool's joke that kicked off on 03/31 in my neck of the woods. I have some of Vince's stuff and those santoku's are fantastic! Congrat's to the winners. You will not be disappointed.
 
Mine has been getting some good use in the kitchen. I really like it! Thanks again Vince!

What a nice knife, I can't thank you enough. The handles feel as good as they look! I actually visited my dad on Friday and my new santoku helped slice tomatoes, garlic, onions, and mushrooms for his home made pizza. Worked great, and was a fun time.
 
I got Vince's very generous GAW yesterday. I'm thrilled with this 440C and Rosewood Santoku! Nicely finished, nice edge. I can't wait to use it. I like it so much I've ordered a paring knife to match. Thanks a bunch, Vince!

Oddly enough, though I'd tracked the thread a number of times to make sure all was in order, I'd missed that paragraph. Vince contacted me and said he was serious about it, and I took him up on his kindness. I chose a nice little outdoor utility knife, which I felt would come in handy on the weekends. Vince then went far beyond that and sent me this exquisite knife made by Mike Miller. A 2 3/4" D2 drop point blade and laminated oak handle, which fits my hand perfectly. Everything about the knife is exactly perfect. It is an incredibly generous gift which will find good use with me.

I guess I will share a photo of mine that turned out ok. My favorite pocket knife, on a cattle ranch where we rounded up the whole herd, seperated the calves and branded, tagged, and banded/cut 250 in a single day.
