I think the Kershaw Skyline is the greatest folding knife in the world

What a strange thread. One person says he "thinks" the Skyline is the greatest folding knife in the world and up pops post after post telling him why, essentially, he's wrong.

Well, to be fair, immediately after the title, his actual post asks what folders offer better features or functions and then invites other members to sell him on a competitor. So, that's what he got.

What a strange thread. And what a strange place this has become; people telling each other why they're wrong about one knife or another being good/great/greatest.
Perhaps if the OP just said that he thinks the Skyline is the greatest, instead of also telling other people they were wrong in thinking other knives were better, and also saying that other knives cost more only for aesthetics and no other knife mentioned has any functional or qualitative advantage over the Skyline. Strange thread indeed.

Adding a simple "IMO" to the end of the sentence helps a lot.

I made that mistake in my earlier post as well, it happens.

The Skyline is the best American made folder around $30.00, IMO ;):D

I'm a big fan of the Skyline. I have it on me every day for just the normal EDC-type tasks. I have large hands, so the knife doesn't exactly fit me perfectly, but since I just use it for light-duty, I've never had any issue with hot spots. I always have a heavier-duty knife on me, as well, so relegating the Skyline to the smaller tasks has worked out great.
