That's a #5 fishermans' knife with a cap lifter. Still smells like fish!

Hi Clutchcarter,

Nice collection. In the first shot, lower right-hand corner, what is that yellow knife with the blade and bottle opener that looks like a swell-end jack?

Tal
That's one of my favorite knives. It's just a cheap little Camco advertising knive, but I love it!

Thanks for the information. These knives are a kick. I found a ton of them on the bay with logos for The Lone Ranger. At the prices these things are going for (<$5) I may have to pick one up.

Legion 12. Great collection. Although I am incredibly envious of the larger collections in this thread, I really like "modest" ones. It is interesting to see what you have carefully selected. I really love the barlows. I have recently been reading about older knives and scouring online auction sites. Something tells me I should just walk away now before my wallet gets hurt.

Alright... boys & gals - here we go. It was a little tricky to get them into correct topic. So I decided to get them in different groups.

I think, this sould have been all. But I realized, that there should be a modded Opinel still flying around anywhere...

Enjoy the collection and give me some replies - positive and negative both are welcome :)

Kind regards

I agree with this 99%. No matter if you walk away from this site or not, you will spend your money on something. Better to have a nice stable of knives to pick from :)

Andi, you have a great selection. In the European group what is that first one with the twine. I really like that one, it looks very usefull :) Could you answer one quick question about your beloved moose? Is that secondary spear blade the same thickness as the clip? I am hung up on that 66 frame and am starting to think the moose will be my next addition :). Thank you sir, and thanks for sharing your great collection.

Hi Jeff!

The european group - you mean that one with the rope around? It´s a traditional croatian pattern, I got from a forum member (rinos). We made a little swap. It´s a nice friction folder.

About the #66 Moose; I just took a look at it and yes, both blades have the same thickness. (As far as I can say it with my 29 years old eyes). The Serpentine frame, which GEC is using is great. The #66 Moose is a great pattern. I carry mine only as a sunday knife. I got it from my wife for our anniversary.

Thank you for the kind words, Sir!

Kind regards
Andi

All fooling aside, thank you for the info Andi. Dont know what ya gave in trade for that friction folder but you got a good looking blade in return.

Nice collection Andi. Thanks for showing your knives. Who is the maker of your German knife with the corkscrew? Cheers!
