I used my EDC for more than opening chip bags and boxes today.

the next time you get THAT bored, try polishing the Bishop instead.

I was recently put on an anti-depressant called Celexa. One of the side-effects is postmature ejaculation. It takes me two hours to jack off now, so this form of entertainment isn't as plausable as it once was.

This is great stuff! I love threads like this. Funny, funny, funny. All in good humour, of course.

MightGoat: The topic is fine. Your post staring this thread is fine.
What's with this?: "To stay off people's bad side, I will try not to argue with anyone, and I plan to refrain from making any similar post in the future."
That's Bullhsit. I (we?) need this sort of topic once in a while. It helps to break up the monotony of "what seems to be a generally peacefull and respectfull forum".

I mean, this is Bladeforums, not DoilyForums or OrigamiForums.

Just the other day there was "What knife do want to be buried with?", and now this. This stuff really kills me. I need a good laugh once in a while. So keep this stuff coming - please.

Well... every forum I post on I end up making quite a few enemies if I post freely. In my view, this is a more serious forum and I use it as an educational resource for knives.

Rotozip, you can do anything with one of them, and do it faster, and neater.

Dude, take it from me self surgery is not wise, gave myself 4 stiches in my right hand when I was a kid, had ta get good and drunk to do it,(also not recommended) wound up with a nasty 3 1/2" scar across the palm of my hand. When I saw the doctor he told me he personally would have put in an extra 7 or 8.

I don't think anyone dislikes you. I would say 80% of the people would rahter not have you get hurt from trying to impress the forumites or whatnot. (Even if thats not what you were doing).

I agree with previous posts, if we didn't have something like this come along, we'd be talking about rehashed knife semantics for infinity.

Its just my opinion, but I almost think this thread would have been 100 times more well recieved if it were in Wine and Cheese. That place is CRAZY. You'd probably fit in just fine there...but beware...there are crazy bastids there that far surpass any amount of idiocy you think you've commited. ;)

I was fully aware of all the possible risks and consequences of this procedure before I began it, and I was willing to continue and be held responsible.

You were aware that you could slip and cut an artery and bleed to death? That's definitely a possible risk!

Look, since you are on anti-depressants and are obviously a teenager, you may be at a hard point in your life. I have a few words of advice: As a teenager, you might not value yourself much at times. You may be picked on, ridiculed, and even beat up. You may feel urges to do stupid things (like cutting a hole in your head!). You may just feel like giving up sometimes. I went through the same feelings, etc. to an extent as I'm sure we all do. I lived so fast in my teen years I always thought I would die young. Now, when I look in my kids' eyes, I'm so glad I didn't.

You will be too... if you make it that far.

Advice appreciated, but completely unnessisairy. I was aware of the artery buisness, but I won't bother with detail.

Now, as I said, I'll post a picture. Because of the course this thread took after I promised to post a picture, I wouldn't normally post one, but as I said I did promise. I'm not trying to look tough showing off my wounds or anything, I just don't want to be thought of as a liar. I'm not sure how much this will prove, though, because in the picture the wound looks more like a pink rub-mark. Anyway, here it is: http://www.imgmag.org/images/pseudoname/TheHoleInMyHead.jpg

I wouldn't worry about it. Ever been to drunkenforums.com? Those people are completely insane and vulgar. I was banned there for being rude.

I'm not getting the pic to work, mate. Oh well.

I don't really need to see people's self inflicted head wounds. I guess.

It's a pretty big picture, takes a while to download. I thought the link was broken when I tried it, too, but it eventually loaded.

Oh. So you're right. It works.

Look! Look! I can see the hole in your head!

Donutsrule: That smiley is priceless. And also, I love Spirited Away. Its probably the best Miyazaki film yet. (As seen in your avatar).

Goat: Its not as bad as I imagined, but still...take our advice and be carefull! Also, I frequent another forum called "The Cesspool". Just by looking at the name you can tell it is a VERY...whats the word...Un-politically correct forum. ;)

Let's see...

Mr. Mighty Goat posts on 6/4 that he performed self surgery on his head. On 6/5 Mr. Mighty Goat posts a picture of a "wound" on the side of his head that looks like it has been healing for about a week or two... Something's smelling a little fishy. Nice try!;)

There is no way that your head could heal that fast in two days time. Furthermore, growths on the temporal region of the head are extrememly close to the skull, and are in turn one of the slowest healing points on the human body. Whats that I smell? I do belive its bullsh*t.

I removed a small bone chip from my shin once with a SAK. I could feel this little hard piece of something under the skin of my shin, obviously close to the surface and free-floating. After a few years of this, I got sick of it and in I went.

Good to know that if I would have asked you guys first you would have egged me on. You probably would have had me buy a new knife to do it with. :D
