I used my EDC for more than opening chip bags and boxes today.

I dont think anyone would not like you for what you have done to yourself , Was kinda a silly thing to do cause your bored . I think you may have other issues . Did you remove the skin or is it still there ? The picture aint that great . Looks just red to me . If you need something to do when your bored try making a knife ! Theres lots of kits you can buy that will take you a few hours to make then sharpen it. Or practice self defence and knife moves on a dummy .

It's the image quality. You may also note that you can't properly make out my zits, or the hair connecting my two eyebrows into one. Don't believe me if you don't want to, I honestly don't give a damn. But I'm hoping that people won't hold this thread against me in the future.

You are exactly right. That is probably why the wound didn't heal in two day's time. The picture is blurry.

When I used to get really bored I would try cutting my own hair.
And people thought THAT was unusual.
I will give you this much, boredom can breed odd behavior.

P.S. How did you think we would react?
As far as legality goes, how about practicing medicine without a liscence? ;)
I hope that gives you some incentive to refrain from self-surgery.

By the way, which knife did you use, and did you do anything special to prepare for surgery? (like, clean with alcohol, and sharpen your knife.......)
Also, to get back to a knife topic, how did it perform?

Donutsrule: That smiley is priceless. And also, I love Spirited Away. Its probably the best Miyazaki film yet. (As seen in your avatar).

:D Thanks! I just wish I could find the frog spinning in suspended animation for my avatar. That movie is just beautiful.

Do you have MSN or AIM? Its always nice to find Miyazaki fans. I really loved that movie. If you haven't seen Princess Mononoke, then you should definatly rent or buy that one as well.

Princess Mononoke was an awesome movie. BTW, the bunny-lookin thing in the beginning credits was from an earlier movie, My Neighbor Totoro. One of the first Miyazaki movies I ever saw. I was about 11 or 12 when I saw it. Good stuff:D . Maybe we should start another thread on the Community Center instead of hijacking this one...:p

I had to read the entire thread and I still don't have an answer to the question: plain edged, or serrated? :p geegee

ScrapeGoat,
A wise man once noted that it is better to keep ones' mouth shut (fingers still) and be thought a fool than to open said orafice and confirm it. You mentioned you have made many enemies on every forum you have visited. Well, go look in the mirror. You say you want to learn, but you keep yapping your flap (flailing fingers), and it is very hard for immature insophisticates to chew bubble gum and listen at the same time. Tell your problems and fantasies to your therapist. You want people to be impressed by your self-mutilation? Go cause a rock slide to entrap yourself, cut your legs off to free yourself, and walk on your hands to the convience store around the corner to call the medics. You might get on the Today show, but I guarrantee you'll be the toast of the Tonight show. Not even your therapist wants to see your smegma, scab.

The worst part is that if a sheeple politician gets wind that you did this to yourself, there would be more restrictive laws, left and right.
What it comes down to is this: YOU ARE MAKING US KNIFE PEOPLE LOOK BAD. No two ways about it.

Okay folks, the wreck has been cleared. Nothing to see here. Let's everybody move along:) BTW, I have been cutting my own hair for a while with an Oster and a #2 guard. Got that Bruce Willis/Matthew McGonehay look without having to blow $16 at Supercuts. More $$$ for knives!!. I also did self surgery at age seven when I ripped out 2 teeth so I could cash in on the tooth fairy loot. It was only 20 years later yhat I found out I self-pulled permanent teeth:D
This is so whacky that it belongs in W+C. I'm gonna close it here and give those who are interested a chance to open up a "self-surgery" thread over there.
