I Wallowed In The Mud

I'm curious - What's the reason for people adding things to their carts that they don't intend to buy and dumping them later?
 
I noticed tonight that after I added a sheath that it kept adding 1 more every time I refreshed till they were gone. It wasn't intentional and I through them right back once I noticed it. Some of it may be from this.

That makes sense. I got a yellow the other night. It's my first Busse and it was not easy to snag so it got me wondering why anyone would put themselves through the hassle if they didn't really want it.
