Great work man, that's turning out nicely! It's so cool that the knifemaking community for the most part is full of guys so willing to share, help and even give, isn't it?
I would suggest that once ya get that running (or preferably before), to wrap a few layers of electrical tape around the middle of the tracking wheel so that it gives it a slight "crown". On mine, I also wrapped a thinly stripped piece of packing tape a couple times on top of the electrical to give it a been more of a "central peak" and also so it was a more smooth, or gradual "radius" transition for the belt to ride over. The tracking was like night and day after I added added the tape to my wheel. So just in case ya start it up and the belt happenes to fly off, you'll know where to look first

. Also, even if ya spin the belt by hand with the grinder off and it seems to track well, it might be different at higher speeds in my experience (with my grinder "NWG") so make sure ta stand to the side (obviously the motor side) when starting it up, which happens to be good practice in general for each time ya start it up.
I hope you make a vid showin it running when ya get it all finished up!
(Also, didn't
anybody happen to read my post where I clearly stated that a 5/16" bolt was the size to use for going through the skate bearings?! :grumpy:

lol jkjk!)
