i like this thread. i would love for all my family members to read it, so's they know what not to buy. especially what not to buy for me.
also, i'm glad to see that at least one hibben knife made it into this thread. i always thought all those curves and flourishes were at best useless, at worst dangerous. to the user.
and for those of you mentioning cold steel. i don't disagree with you. having said that, i edc my cs recon 1 and I don't feel it all that mall-ninja-y, but it's the spear point micro. maybe i should have gone xl serrated tanto?

Well, since this thread rose again to darken the first page, I figured I'd see what was out there.
This one looks like somebody spent a lot of time making it, but IMO, it was not time well spent....
For those of you who prefer a "Ulu-based" tacticlol. It even looks like it has a choil, so you can choke up for better zombie-killin.

Okay, with that, I'm done for a while.
My friend went to Russia and came back with this exact knife for me. Its also an Auto! He haggled the guy from 35 to 20 rubles. A steal at .32 cents.

A "knockoff". PSH. You can tell mine is real because of the sweet meticulously hand engraved eagle head and siding.
The one above is a dragon obviously from china while mine (the majestic eagle) is American.
Unparalleled craftsmanship.
Filled her up with some butane.

Not a folder... more of a Survivlol knife... "from the... tip of the blade to the top of the handle the entire blade is made of 420 molecular stainless steel"... although I think the handle is plastic:

I believe the Italians actually had folding bayonets.I could actually see how a folding bayonet might be useful? $9.99 anyone?
The normal size grip folds over half of the longer blade. This way you still have some blade sticking out and can still use the knife even if "closed"
