Just waiting for the perfect color combo to pop up.
I bought one last week.
It is butt ugly; looks like a lump of mud with moss stuck to it, but I can feel its inner beauty.

Sounds like a beautiful combo to me.
My favorite is muddy and tan micarta, or black and tan micarta....really anything and tan micarta.![]()
Can you tell from the crappy photo what this one is?
Now that I've received it I need to take a better photo...

I'm calling it Sage blade, green G10 handle.
Mashed Cat sheath is on the way, it is going in my backpack.
pete
Yeah that's sage with green g10 far as I'm aware, though that's pretty light green in the handle. I almost jumped on that one, it's got that "inner beauty" lol.![]()
I like the way those slabs look, though I doubt I'd sand mine down. I usually like the highly textured stuff.
If Trail Wolf would come up off his black and tan I'd be good to go lol.![]()
Convince me it's not the best knife in it's size range?
Also magnum handles are a must for me, I find even the handles on the SAR 6 to be a bit too skinny.
The double guard just doesn't do it for me, though I love the blade shape.
