Convince me it's not the best knife in it's size range? :)

Also magnum handles are a must for me, I find even the handles on the SAR 6 to be a bit too skinny.

I'd get a CG and strip it myself. I think they look pretty good under that coating. Wish I had bought more when they were available in the Company Store.

I bought one last week.
It is butt ugly; looks like a lump of mud with moss stuck to it, but I can feel its inner beauty.

Sounds like a beautiful combo to me.

My favorite is muddy and tan micarta, or black and tan micarta....really anything and tan micarta. :)

Can it get any better than this one? It's in tomorrow's ganzaa and it's as hot as Busse's get IMO.

That's very nice, but something about me and orange/black doesn't quite mesh. I really do get why people like it but I'm a black/tan or a black/blue sorta guy.

Plus, honestly, if I don't USE my knives they go bye bye. And that one is just to pretty to beat up. I'd rather smack a combat grade around for a while then strip it.

Yeah that's sage with green g10 far as I'm aware, though that's pretty light green in the handle. I almost jumped on that one, it's got that "inner beauty" lol. :)

I Found LK's original image:

I was lusting after one of these for a while.
It's obviously a combat / camouflage color combination, it will make a fantastic camp knife.

GO FOR IT!!

Here's mine, it used to have a tanker grey blade and those scales are black canvas micarta that I've sanded down all nice and smooth like

I can't beleive how new the 1911 was in that pic

I like the way those slabs look, though I doubt I'd sand mine down. I usually like the highly textured stuff.

If Trail Wolf would come up off his black and tan I'd be good to go lol. :)

I initially got the textured for the extra grip, but after chopping and using it, you notice the heat spots. With canvas micarta, I feel like I still maintain a good grip even though the scales are sanded down.

So I guess you've ruled out the Team Gemini?? (oh crap, I'm having a "vujà dé" moment...that's where you feel that you've had this moment before...and you have! ;):D)
