I want an nmsfno

Say how do the handles feel different or similar? I need pretty thick handles, are the geminis as thick?

To me they feel similar, but I like the TG's handle just a little more...probably because it flares out at the spine & tang a bit towards the pommel. My palm is a medium in glove size, but my fingers are closer to long.

Here's a pic of the 2 handle to handle from the spine...thickness is the same:

md02geist, thought you hated these as much as the SAR5??? :D;)

I got mine at the height of the last Busse bubble and paid a pretty steep amount for a total user - with that said, I'd do it again!!! I love this guy and the black/tan color rules as well. Had to sand the handles a bit to smooth em out.

This one will stay with me forever along with my BWM LE and CG FBM mudsnake.

If the fanboys will allow a contrary opinion...

Have you tried a Fusion Steel Heart? I had two NMSFNO and let them go, as I found that the Fusion handle felt better to me. Especially when chopping. The straighter SF handle style probably works better for the wider variety of tasks, but a knife this size is not really an all-rounder anyway, so for me, the balance of properties leans more toward the chopper role.

It is certainly true that the NMSFNO is a better value, but for the same $$ or less, you could get a SARSquatch, which makes for a fine all-rounder knife.

I have not, though I considered them. I've looked at FSH, ASH, and Sarsquatch and just looking at them seems as if I would like the NMSFNO the best.

To be fair though I've never handled any of them, which is the true test.

yep, NMSFNO is better knife compared to Sarsquatch in my opinion, some guys might have a viceversa opinion.
I will not throw under the bus the Sar5 neither, although needs a bit Mod... like many Busse k.

Beautiful nmsfno. Had a shot at one very similar to that but missed it by minutes. Got a great offer on an nmsfno by a fellow BF member, somebody xxx xx xxx x so I can take him up on it asap. :)
