I must be too old to appreciate the scantily clad female. Dang shame this sort of thing makes its way onto BF.

Used to be proud my 10 year old son could read posts freely withough being exposed to that stuff. Thought this was a family oriented forum.

Maybe you don't have any feelings about my simple initial post, but your picture was worth a thousand words, all of them judgemental and meant to alienate.

Would it be ok to post a guy in a jock strap with his genitals swinging around? Would it be ok for a 10 year old girl to see, since she will see it EVENTUALLY, right?

I have worked with at-risk kids, and have been a part of working with young people from K-12. In general, exposing a child to ideas or images that their mind is not mature enough to understand, is called abuse.

This is Mr. Busses's world. If he is ok with that type of post, and having it represent him, then that makes me sad, especially since he has so many good ladies working for him. If that image was posted in the Busse office , or passed around in company email, how would it be treated?

As it goes, all thecutesy/rude picture comments show that modern men have no ability to be spoken to in a direct honest manner. Instead they snicker and speak from the side of their mouths.

No wonder our country is being run into the ground.
 
This was my reason for jumping on the DTBM. Something about the old timeyness of a good sized carbon steel knife. I like yours too. I'd pull the drawing if you ever want to see it happen. I think it was on the TG dagger thread when Jerry said drawings are the quickest way to kill a design from every happening.

I think it would be fine. Seen worse at the beach (from both genders).

I fear for the mentality that we need to censor everyone and everything for fear of persecution.

The female pictured is wearing more than most women do at a beach. Perhaps we swing to the opposite end and have women wearing burka's?

While this is a blade forum the images should be of blades. I do agree on that.

I have noticed though that there has been much less tolerance of free speech lately. Not just on this forum but in the world in general. In the days of our forefathers it would be referred to as persecution. People would rally against it.

By the way, your original comment did not offend me, I posted a meme just as lighthearted fun. It is unfortunate that memes, and gifs are such an insult to you. It is unfortunate for you that the internet, TV, movies, magazines, and sandy beaches offer considerably more offensive scenes(or what you consider offensive). None of my posts were directed at you, so if you took it that way, well, not much anyone can do is there.
 
Clearly we need O2W to come back... we are loosing focus here. For what it's worth, I like the design... make it a fusion handle for me.

How offended were you? There is no post report, which is what you should have done.
Now I don't want to get into a thing here, but you are the parent. No one under 13 years of age can have an account here under COPPA, with this notice posted at the bottom of every page here on BladeForums. So, what does that mean? That means if you allow your younger than 13yrs. old children to access BladeForums through YOUR account, you should be screening threads, as regardless of moderation level, it is mainly adults talking here, and what your children are exposed to is ultimately your responsibility. I think most can attest that we mods here keep it pretty clean & "PG-13"...

Cobalt posted no nudity. If that .gif were in a major motion picture, it would still qualify for a PG rating. He's been posting that .gif since before I knew what a Busse was, and this is the first I can remember to the best of my aging memory that anyone has taken offense with it. This forum has mellowed in the decade that I've been around, but I don't see it mellowing much further because it is a blend of many personalities, including some (like me) that like their Mistresses to always be sharp...and just a little bit dirty.
