Actually if I was at the office and having a stressful day this would cheer me up immediately-I have now installed them on all my computer's as a Screen Saver-CHEERS!!!

Not to mention some of us might be checking in on BF while on lunch break at the office. That kind of crap can get you nailed by corporate if the wrong executive walks into your cubicle or office. Always the battle cry for people who want to take away from others. Firearms, tobacco, food, and so many other things come spiraling through my head.

I am also a father. I want to raise my kids my way. I don't hold anyone else responsible for my children because I can control their lives from the moment they wake up until the moment they go to sleep. Hell, my 3 year old practices good trigger discipline with his Lazer gun......still working on stopping him from drinking from the business end of his water gun though.

Point is, you can't control what other people do, post, or say, but you can control your children and yourself. Be their example and it shouldn't matter if they see a gif of a pretty girl dancing on a computer screen.

I hear what you're saying. Not really a 'battle cry." You can marginalize me if you want, but since you decided to get up in my face, I'll stand by what I wrote. And I don't recall saying that images of females shaking their breasts needed to be "taken away" from you, or taken from Anthony Weiner, or taken from anyone else. I was only suggesting that Shane has a point: that it's inappropriate in some spaces (which it is) because of kids and work-friendly policies. What I am saying is truth. I tried to say it respectfully, but if you can't understand that, then I really don't care.

I do wish I could figure out how to hide titles of threads from W&C and another more potent subforum from my screen.

My kids can read, and are always, and I mean always, trying to read over my shoulder what ever I'm looking at.

Some of those titles are funny, but not kid appropriate. Many are down right offensive ao many segments of the population, and nothing I'd ever want a child to read.

The Busse forum is pretty darned tame!









Also, on an unrelated note, the Boss needs to make a fighting bowie. Sharp clip, hooked guard to catch blades, distal taper.


That is all.





The Dguard Mistress is pretty darned sweet, add a d'guard to a saw back mistress seems like a pretty good fighting knife! 10 or more blade catchers!
 
On my computer the WC forum is so far down that It never shows up on my screen as I never scroll down far enough.

Who knew your GIF could have started all of this? As someone said, we're getting a little stir crazy and really need O2W to come back.
 
Now that it's been mentioned....

Busse does have some things in common with a tiddybar.

1. Always leave with an empty wallet
2. Patrons generally over served


I'd love to see Busse do some more traditional type knives. Natural handle materials have always appealed to me. I'd love to see a Busse with stag!

To the point, when I saw the sketched design, it reminded me that I was told at BLADE 2005 by a Busse staff person that all designs are in-house. I expect there are a lot of reasons, none of which are personal. They know what they can and cannot do based on steel, tooling, etc.

Flash ahead to more recently, when I was told that Busse does not accept designs from outside the company. That is all I will about the matter, and the conversation that took place.

As far as the comments about going to the mall? If you take your children to a public place where that type of dress is ok, then that is your call. We live in a small town the nearest mall is a 250 mile round trip. Go figger. We rarely have any need to go there.

Mr. BUSSE'S FORUM. Obviously, the idea I have about this matter is neither accepted nor appreciated. I realize my "old ways" mean exactly zero. The idea that kids should be allowed their time of innocence, without intrusion by people who believe their right to do whatever they want, whenever they want regardless of who if affects. I guess this forum is one of those, and means that I cannot share this with my boy. Again, this ain't my world, Mr.BUSSE decides what is ok. And obviously this is ok by him.
