I want to make a becker mix knife

How thick is the blade going to be? Under 1/4" I hope.

great thread. looks like that knife is a beast. this reminds me of a used Camillus BK i just recently saw on flea bay...i actually bid on it but lost... at first i thought it was a modded 10 or possibly even a modded 2 (except for the thumb ramp).... but if it were a 10 I believe it would have said "Crewman" and "Campanion" if it were a 2. Hell, I thought maybe a 7? but the 7 would have said "Combat Utility". There was one pic that said "Combat Bowie". Yup, it appears to me that this thing was a 9 turned into a 10/2 custom... Unless there is a different type of Camillus BK10 that says Combat Bowie? Anyway, it looked pretty amazing... i wanted it but the fleabay gods did not allow it to be... I was wondering if anyone here won the beast.. i have some pics of this possible "Becker mix" I will post. The green sheath was also shortened... it was very interesting. C'est la vie!
