Michael-
I wouldn't hesitate one second to ship you anything I have on approval, based on your reputation, and I'm so sorry to hear that you ran into this kind of flak. I'm sure it will happen to me sooner or later.
Earlier this week I shipped a nice Zowada to a fellow I'd never heard of before, just based on how he presented himself by email. He was out of pocket and unreachable for a day or two, and I never heard for sure that he had sent payment, so naturally I began to wonder. Sure enough, on Thursday I got a notice from the post office that they had the envelope waiting for pick-up, and when I retrieved it found that he had paid for overnight express mail service--quite a step up from what I required, and significantly more expensive. Obviously, at that point I felt relieved, but also it made me feel very much in synch with the decision to trust him based on my gut in the first place. To me, what you may have lost--and what might be hardest to gain back--is that sense of trusting your gut when it tells you to. I very much regret that loss for you, as you seem to me to be a man who values those kinds of experiences as highly as I do.
I can only wish you much better trading days ahead.
