Honestly, in my opinion, if you look at it like that, contact a custom knife maker who can give you exactly what your looking for or your never going to be satisfied with your blades.

I've done it. RAT cutlery is by far my favorite company, but I have a slew of custom knives that are made to my specs, exactly how I want them.

RAT cutlery is a production knife company in the business of putting out a good, working tool at a working mans price point. No mosaic pins, gold inlays or fancy scrollwork here. Just good quality tools.

Well, it's just a regular circus around here. Keep those cards, letters and suggestions coming. A lot of folks want a boot clip on the Izula. I think it's a good idea but we are just full of good ideas and that one is not the highest carving on the totem pole at this time. Appreciate everyone's participation on the forum!
 
I am sorry to hear that there are some disapointments with your RAT purchase. If you would like a boot clip I know that there are a lot of people here that would be really happy to make you one.

I love to hear that you guys are so open to suggestions, and actually listen to the thoughts your users have on your products. Honestly it's one of the reasons that I keep coming back to you. Well that and the kick ass knives and amazing customer service.
 
Until I have a RAT Adapter so my Izula and my H.E.S.T. fit on the bayonet lug on my Chesty Puller Signature Series™ Flame Thrower, I AM NO LONGER A FAN!!! THAT'S IT!!! :D

Guys listen, I think some here mistook my thread as saying " Screw RC", thats not how it is. I love my rc3, 5, and izula and my soon to have 6, I would not have spent the money
if I didn't.
I just made some suggestions on what I would like to have as options. And if RC did offer them as an option i would bet that people here would welcome them with open arms and buy them too and say how wonderful they are and what good ideas RC has.. So relax cult of RAT lol..

And the micarta is nice looks good the grip is ok, but I really dont like the way that it soaks up stuff.

I'm not a cultist, I really want to put my Izula on the end of a flame thrower. The mere fact I don't currently own a flame thrower should be of little consequence. :)

I know that no one attachment device is suitable for all purposes but I installed a lock clip on my Izua last night. I've attached the Izula to my Mission Go Bag. (I had to use the screws from a Tek-Lok because they are a wee bit longer.) A match made in heaven. Pictures forthcoming.
 
Just a suggestion guys:

You've all made fun of other various maker's "fan clubs" -- let's not make this forum a RAT fan club, where criticism is jumped on and squashed.

IIRC the purpose of RAT Cultery was to make knives that address Jeff and Mike's criticism of other knives.

the rc-3 boot clip can be bolted onto the izula sheath... or do like me and buy a 3 $ tape measure and use the clip from it.
 
Again, all comments are welcome here. I think the Izula belt clip is a great idea. It's been mentioned before here. Let's not be too hard on blacklupo. Remember, we are about INDIVIDUALISTS around here. With that said, blacklupo, you have to understand these are tough group of folks. I'm sure none of them mean any harm in what they say but they will ride you to the ground pokin' fun....but that's just the way we roll around here. Don't take it too serious. ;)

Yeah I think that your first post in this thread that peeps took you "I am not a fan of" comment as you ment RAT Cutlery, but you ment the the scales.

my god man, thats well put. One of the reasons im a RAT fan is the lack of the "kool aid" mentality. Real tools for real life. No beanie babies for grown ups here. :thumbup:
