It is already the end of September and 2015 brought some nice surprises. I wonder what we will see in new offerings from CS in 2016?

Actually 2015 was by and large a disappointing year for me . CS brought out only 3 new knives I was interested in ; the Shanghai Warrior, which I bought, and the Black Talon and the Tiger claw karambit neither of which I've purchased so far, because the change to more expensive steel brought the price up at least a third over what these knives would have cost in Aus 8. Instead CS seems to have put most of their energy into bringing out all their old knives ,many of which I already have, in new more expensive steel. [ Thanks so much steel ninnies!]
I hope CS returns to the arena in which the company was totally dominant ; the production of true extra large folders. I may buy the Black Talon for myself as a Christmas present but it's close in price range to the Spyderco Civlian [which I've had for years] and if anything the Talon's blade is a tiny bit shorter than the Civilian's. What I would really like to see is a Black Talon with a 5.5" blade. Come on CS designers ,use your imaginations and bring out a slew of new XL folders that will make me fall in love with Cold Steel all over again.

Agree with the forumite above...but still waiting for the special run Hold Out I limited edition!
It will be my first and only CTS XHP blade, but I keep searching and asking. No signs of it yet!
Come on it's my birthday, we are in septemberalready and no one can tell when will they be available?!
Disappointed this year with CS as well

I would not mind seeing a titanium Code 4 with a near 4" blade and the handle remain the same length that it is now.

no idea, but i'm looking forward to new things as usual......

i was happy with many of this years new cold steel products.....the sword like machetes have been a blast for me, and the better steel in the knives...but i wish they would have kept or added steel liners on most of their knives. especially the lawman.

yeah a titanium framed larger 4"+ bladed folder at a reasonable price point.....i'd be all over, but i'd prefer it not be a frame lock. too many of those, and tri-ad would be far better.

With the buzz the 4-Max caused I'd be a bit surprised if we didn't see another entry into the high end line. And given the demand I'd also be surprised if it wasn't their take on the AD10, which would make a lot of people very happy.

because the change to more expensive steel brought the price up at least a third over what these knives would have cost in Aus 8.

Ehh, when the Recon 1's were new, they ran around $90. The Black Talon runs about $110, which is $20 more. Not "at least a third" by my math. Sure, the Recons eventually went down to around $70 after they'd been out awhile, but I figure down the road the Black Talon will likewise drop in price.

As for new 2016 offerings, I dunno. I'm always open for more machetes...maybe a parang or golok? Sure, my Condors will always be my favorites, but I'm still always happy to get a new CS machete. Maybe they could bring back the Culloden...

I'm hoping for a trailaster with a nice micarta handle with a palm swell. Also more models in the same g10 as the american lawman.

More 3V please! I would love to see the SRK, Trail Master, Recon Scout and a spike in 3V.

In particular I think the thinner, large bladed Rajah II in that long handle, which allows you to generate some momentum, with the super strong triad lock could really benefit from a 3V blade.

Hopefully more production Demko's please.. I would also like to see a 3v/G10 spartan

More folder in the 7.5-8.5 inch range. Production version of Demko's AD15 with new lock. Real folding karambit that doesn't have 6inch handle.
