I commissioned two identical knifes from Ian a few years ago and have carried one and put this one in my safe. It is a 3" single blade trapper with stainless steel bolsters and ATS-34 hand polished hollow ground blade and jigged bone all done by Ian. This knife has extensive file work with the roman knot pattern on the spine and blade and a some very nice work on the liners. I think there are only a few guys who can do this roman knot patter of file work. This is a real beauty from a true master. Sales thread has pictures. Looking for other customs, of equal value. I am only interested in folders, no production and no more than two knives to equal the value of mine.
