I've had many good transactions on this forum.
My transaction with ixexi has not been good.
ixexi is at the top of my "do not deal with" list.

Here's the timeline.

12/10, I paid (Paypal goods) $52 for a PDW Ti SPD tag, from this thread:.

12/14, ixexi shipped.

12/17, I received the package, he sent the brass tag, not the Ti tag.

12/17, I PM him, tell him about the mix-up, and that I'll send the brass tag back to him and would he please send the Ti tag out to me.

12/21, he replies, confirms his address, and writes, "Let me figure out what's going on and I'll get back with you."

12/21, I ship the brass tag back to him.

12/24, I still haven't heard anything from ixexi, so I send him a PM, asking him to just refund my payment if he hasn't shipped the Ti tag yet.

12/26, USPS confirms my package to him (the brass tag) arrived at his stated shipping address.

12/30, having heard nothing from ixexi since 12/21, I send him a PM telling him that if I don't hear from him soon I'm going to file a claim with Paypal.

Throughout this time ixexi has been on the forums, selling more things, and apparently completely ignoring what he owes me, and can't even be bothered to send a PM to let me know what's going on. In fact, he's on the forum as I write this post.

ixexi posted 3x yesterday (12/30), once on 12/22, and 6x on 12/21. And he's been on the forums (I assume to check his sales threads) throughout that time period.

I'm not so worried about getting my money back, Paypal has always done right by me.
But even if he's not trying to rip me off, there's way too many good people on these forums to waste time with someone like ixexi. He seems to be the type that completely loses interest once he's got your money. I've got a long string of PMs back and forth with him, so he's getting my PMs.

Once my transaction with ixexi is complete I'll be posting negative feedback through iTrader, but I wanted to also give an early heads-up, because he does seem to be doing a lot of selling right now.

I will send him a PM with a link to this thread.
 
ixexi last activity was today, about a half-hour after I PM'ed him the link to this thread. So he's read it, and he's visited my profile page. Still no communication from him.
 
You beat me to that tag by about a minute....sorry for your troubles. Hopefully he'll come forward and clear the whole deal up.
 
Based on the timeline noted in your OP, and the fact that he is online and still selling you may want to reach out to one of the Mod's for a little help.
 
I was just going to say that maybe he's got something going on for the Holidays, but if he's been on here in between these times, and as noted above, even today, then I guess that reasoning doesn't work.....

A lot of maybe's here in terms of what may have happened, but there is never an excuse for not communicating.
 
I hope it works out for you. Almost bought a keybar off of him.

On a side note, I am a HUGE fan of Hanlon's Razor. Well quoted sir! I hope neither are culpable traits presently.
 
At this point, file a claim and let Paypal do it's thing. I sent him a message about this thread and locked his most recent sales thread.
 
ixexi, don't lose your integrity for $52 man. Just send him the Ti tag or a refund, this doesn't have to be long and drawn out. Lets make it right and start the new year off on a good foot!

I started the process with Paypal this morning.

A little searching on his real name (Casey Hupman) and the town he's from (North Hampton, OH) turned up an old thread from WatchUSeek, which ran from 2009-2013, and includes many examples of the same thing he's doing to me. Lot's of communication, then he goes dark when he gets the money. He kept selling on that forum as well, while ignoring messages from people that had paid him. Lots of excuses. Looks like most people eventually got their goods or a refund, it just took a while. He was eventually banned from WatchUSeek.

Maybe he gets off on the attention? The amount of money is almost trivial, it just bugs me to have my hobby time interrupted by some flake.
 
And yet another person destroys their reputation for 50 bucks.

Yea...this doesn't bode well.

That said, since you seem to have done the right thing (e.g. used PayPal as intended) you should have no problem getting your money back. Albeit with a little extra headache.
 
He pulled the same scam ( or the same inability to organize his affair or the same uncaring attitude or whatever goes wrong with his less than timely deals) on Military Watch Resource and Kifaru Forums too a few years ago. Seems to be his modus operandi.

He's already seen this thread, he refuses to comment or communicate, so we are all done here folks.
If you cannot be bothered to communicate and do what is expected of you in a transaction, then this place has no room for you.
