Idea: Becker Forum Scales

OD grivory, I can dig it. Actually it would be groovy if the grivory handles were available in a wide spectrum of colors.

I'd just be happy if they made grivory scales for the BK-11, like they do for the BK-14 Eskabar, as a more affordable alternative to the pricey micarta scales.

I wonder If you could grind down tweener grivory to fit the 11. the rear end looks to be about the same size as tweener scales. Ill let you know if I remember to check and see if it fits.
 
I voted yes, but I was thinking micarta all the way. I'd settle for G-10. :p
 
As long as they aren't $40+ I'd love it. I'd love a set for my 10, 5, and 3. As long as they are reasonably priced. IF they are $40. I'd only get one set for my 10.

BTW, I'd definitely say: no divot. I always carry a zippo, when I'm out, and I usually have a second or third method of firestarting with me too.
 
Hey Warrior, I was thinking that since we are going to being using a lazer etcher on these what about making the micarta have some kind of high texture traction on it instead of the divot?

I don't understand why? I thought these were going to be made out of standard micarta.

Love the idea. I've been lurking here for a while... this thread makes me realize that I need to step up and become an official Beckerhead so I can join in the fun!
