How'd you settle on the AK? I saw a side-by-side chopping demo with a Busse FFBM & HI AK here:I've got a 16" Ang Khola from HI. Great knife. Still want a Busse Kukri though... spring steel doesn't quite hold an edge like good 'ol INFI
Almost pulled the trigger on a Reinhardt the other day. Talked myself down for a little while. Lol!Maybe the last Wed in 2015. If not, I might have to move on to other options.... losing faith.

Any thoughts on handle style? Granted, OP and thread is for the "Basic" handles - but as far as shape goes, I prefer the handle shape of the original KZ (curved/Fusion-esque) as opposed to the KZ2 (straight).
Maybe an Ergo Res-C handle could be a compromise? Though not knowing what all is involved in fabricating the handle this way, I could be totally off-base.Everyone loves the TT curved handle much better but I don't think it would be feasible to make a special handle mold for Res-C on such a limited run. Unless they start making Fusion Basic handle runs on blades. Only time will tell
Any Busse Kukri is better than no Kukri, although a Basic Kukri would be something extra extra special.
'16 is going to be the year of the ResC Kuk. Jerry is just testing our resolve and I see some piglets are falling by the wayside. ResC is what will set this beast apart.
