Like many of you, the Military is one of my favorite knives. It is the closest thing to a perfect knife that I've come across. But, it could use some refinements. I feel like the liner lock could be thicker (maybe), the lanyard tube could be bigger, the screws could be bigger, and the handle should have pre drilled tip up and tip down carry holes on the right side. What do you think?

It could be improved to the way paramilitary 2 is- Compression lock, larger lanyard holes, better clip carry. Maybe a stronger tip as well.

I really like the Military the way it is now, I actually have one in my pocket as I type this. I think if they straightened out the handle a little and knocked 1/2" or so off the end it would be about perfect for an every day carry knife.

Offer it in h1 for those who are in love with the overall design but work on the water? And coat all the hardware because I dunno how they'd make the lock interface not rust.

It's pretty good the way it is, but a few ideas..
- 4 position clip (big as l prefer tip-up and have to drill tap all my own Milies to get them setup for RH TU)
- I like the liner lock and never had any issues, but compression lock would be cool too.
- Change out the block spacer for full flow through design with some nice looking spacers
- I don't use lanyards but a bigger hole would be nice if I wanted to.
- Maybe round the heal a bit (like the P2 vs P1)
- Whatever you do.. DO NOT MAKE IT HEAVIER.. if anything, lighter

pretty much everything Hawk45 said. i think the weight is perfect, and a compression lock would make the thing ambi and much stronger. Why not put the flagship lock on the flagship knife?
Oh, and keep the old pivot design so i know i can adjust it to not have bladeplay. I don't need my millie to be any smoother than it is, and its not worth the trouble to use that bushing.

The only problem is that you would not be able to have a FFG Military in H1. The process to turn it into a full flat grind would make the blade to brittle (work hardnened steel). Which leaves us with something that already fits the bill Pacific Salt.

I love the tip down carry and the existing clip much better than the new P2 set up with extra holes in the scales. So I am one vote for leaving the Military exactly as it is. Just keep doing sprint runs like the M4,S90V,BG-42,CTS-XHP etc.

+ 1 .... just bring back the SE Millie though!

and a S90v SE sprint... the knife you'll never need to sharpen ... (at least i hope, it should be pretty painfull imo)

Ahhh I've been dreaming of this happening one day. But unless one of us find an PE S90V and then have it reground with serrations I doubt it will ever happen. Remember sprints are for the collectors not for those who actually use their knives in the real world. In the mean time I'll have to make do with my 440V SE's ;)

and the more it looks like this, the more i'll use all of mine, including s90V and m4 milie.

Good to hear, a few here would frown at the state of my M4 Millie these days. But hey I'd rather be driving a Ferrari that have it collect dust in a garage.

For me I work in an office environment so a deep carry knife is essential, so a deep carry wire clip, but I know that for this type of knife it is not the right clip
