Hello,

I have recently come into possession of a Khukuri. I would like to know if you can "date" it for me or tell me a little about it. I was told by the previous owner that it is around 70 yrs old. Can you please have a look and let me know if there is any Historical significance or if it is just an old souvenier

PS, I do not know how to attach the pictures on the forum,, so if you know how, please advise and I will post for all to see

Jama the pix on photopoint have a URL for each one.
If you put that URL here one of us will help you get the pix posted.

Okay Jim...
You have to move the `incoming' photos to one of the albums and then post that URL.
You can also rename the albums if you wish or create a new album.
Hang in there, you're about there.

Jimall the URL is showing now is that you do have an account there.
All of the albums are showing `0' which means they are empty, and that's why you ave to move the `incoming' photo to the an album. It doesn't matter which one.
Just follow the directions and you will get there.

Okay I see you created an album for the khukuri, but it says there is no photo there.
Up at the top of th epage inphotopoint it should say you have one incoming photo. Click the little box and move the photo to the khukuri album then we can see it..
When you do that and post that URL I will fix it to where it's shown here in bladforums for you.

Okay, here's one URL. I will get the rest and post just a link to them as they are quite large and without being cropped they take up a lot of bandwidth.....
These URL's will show the large pix without having to wait on photopoint to enlarge them.

Thanks bro,,, there is an album with all 5 pix now, I really appreciate your efforts

Jim when you have time you can click on the pix on photopoint and use the tools they have there to crop your pix. It takes a little while to figure it out, but if I can do it anyone can.
You can also enlarge and manage your photo's in other ways, but since they came up with their new upgrade I don't like it as much.
Used to be that you could change the brighteness and contrast, but I don't see that option there anymore.
And you're welcome for the help.
That's what we're here for and have the rep of being one of or the friendliest forum on bladeforums.
Have to give the credit to my Bro Uncle Bill. He's the one responsible for what goes on here, well my little Bro Rusty does play a part as well.
