KnifeCenter has preorders up at $150. Looks like the Demko-direct and retailer price will be the same.

Delving into the specs a bit more -- now that they're available -- I'm intrigued by its ~3.5 oz. weight and 0.39" handle thickness. Couple that with its relatively short 3" blade and relatively long 4.5" handle, and you've got something that looks a lot like a Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight in some ways.

For the price, I'm still surprised it's AUS10. I wonder if there will be follow-up releases in other steels?
 
I love cold steel. I can't count the number of deer I've gutted and skinned with my Pendleton Lite Hunter
