I've wanted to do this thread for a while, and hopefully it will get some traffic.
I was inspired to start this thread by Peter La's request for a Tracker/WSK, whatever survival, and I think that many of us might have a few other cool idea they would prefer to see in INFI.
Before I discovered that crap was actually crap, I had this knife:
Bowie__20-2960_Jungle_Ranger.jpg

And it recurved slashed and sliced and chopped really well, it's like a Bowie-Kukri. Of course, there would be modifications, but I still think it would be a very useful tool to have.
I also love the Warrior knife. Made by Rekat and Al Mar, it's a fighter, but it looks like it could pretty useful also.

I would love to see a version of the Predator MCS by Jack Crain, but in INFI and crafted by the folks in Ahia..

Copies, we don't want no stinkin copies. Let them copy Busse!!!

I personally would rather have something from out of the depths of that dark demented mind of the Wauseon Wonder Boy....;)

C'mon, just pick something. This thread is about having FUN! If it makes it any easier, let's say that Jerry was going to make you a free knife, with the only condition being that you HAD to pick someone else's design. Copywrite is no problem, because he's Jerry, and everyone loves him. So PICK!
Otherwise, what's the point in posting in this thread?

So would a Busse version of the Woodman's Pal look something like the original crossed with the one of a kind Megalodon?

I was thinking of the same design with snakeskin/doublecut. .25" thick. Call it something like Woodman's Mistress or the TreeHerder.

Tthe jack crain machete, but lighten up to be a fighter, or an INFI khyber:eek:

it would be a blade designed by his brother. i don't have the pic anyore but i'm sure somebody could post it.

I would like to see him copy the Badger Attack-E, including the flat grind, but in 3/16" thickness or less, with thicker handle slabs to make up for the loss in handle thickness. An Anorexic BA-E! I realize that there is a point for any given blade size where reduced thickness might raise hard-use/abuse breakage issues, but I would personally waive any warranty recourse to have one of these.

Or copy the Gladius, the Roman short sword, in INFI! If I ever spring for a big-bucks knife to be made by the Custom Shop, this will likely be it.

I'd like to see an Al Mar "Warrior" variant as well. That is one scary fighter!

I would absolutely LOVE IT if he copied the Ratweiler!!

:D

20" sirupate at 1/2" thick from himalayan imports :D

but i would agree with mike that i'd rather not see any direct copies (and wouldnt expect to)

I would like to see something like this: I know we have one close but something that makes your marbles "GO HIDE"!!! This is a Jerry Hossom!

You mean this one right Stinky? I am still salivating over this shiny bowie.

Jerry, what's the scoop on your brother's operation any way?
