IF Jerry would copy any knife, which one would you pick?

A copy of the Gladius, the Roman short sword, in INFI! If I ever spring for a big-bucks knife to be made by the Custom Shop, this will likely be it.

+1

I have thought this also. How sweet it would be.

a folder like the manix, or the military, snake skin handle and infi for blade steel, all black who look bad ass. The name: tactical military police combat

T.M.P.C. :D

I would love to see a version of Walter Brend's Model 2 in INFI and snakeskin scales....

A 'Chute Knife'....now that, that would be sweet!

Or, a nice coffin-handled Bowie (Gotta Love 'em!)

I think a Musso bowie would be an awsome piece:thumbup: . Or maybe a large chopping tanto knife?

A Busse/Brend or Swamp Rat/Brend collaboration would be the ultimate.

I love Jerry's warped creations and I am content for him to lead the pack and influence other makers instead of the other way around. However since this is just a wishing/dreaming/for fun thread, I'd like to see what Jerry would have come up with if Peter Jackson had come to him to design and make all the weapons for the entire LOTR trilogy. What would Strider's Ranger sword, his elven hunting knife, and Anduril look like if Jerry had designed and made them out of INFI?

Hi,

I'd actually love to see an INFI bushcraft knife, patterned after the Woodlore knife:

Ray Mears' site has stopped taking orders for this, and when they pop up on ebay that sell for several hundred pounds UK. I'd snap up an INFI version in a second, although I admit it doesn't look as cool as some of the blades posted in this thread! :)

If you are not familiar with the Busse Badger Attack 3 (BA3), look at http://www.badmojo.tv. The BA3 has a 4.5" blade of a somewhat similiar shape, and even though the BA3 configuration is no longer made, the price is around $225-$350, depending on blade finish and condition. All BA3's are made of INFI; some of the earlier straight-handled BA's (SHBA) were made of A2 steel, but many SHBA's are INFI. The SHBA has a very comfortable handle style, but the price will be more in the $300-$450 range.
