My Grandpa (rest his soul) introduced me to knives on the front porch whittlin'. He showed me they were good for cuttin' up apples too. Never thought of them as Taboo until I started coming here. So my question would be "Would you think knives were taboo if you weren't ever exposed to Bladeforums.com?"
