If SHTF...

Mullein. I got it. At the end of my driveway. I'm good to go. Well… for a few days… or until winter.

Then I guess aztim has the answer: water. Or snow.

Herstal FN 57 (not a great choice for scavenging ammo I concede... but I just can't resist)

IF this is going to be something long-term, ammo compatibility is going to be paramount. There's NO way I'm leaving without:

  • Full-size auto in 9mm
  • Hi-cap 1911 in .45 ACP
  • AK-47 in 7.62x39
  • AR-15 in 5.56x45
  • Pump shotgun in 12 gauge
  • 30-06 Scoped Hunting Rifle
  • Busse BG AK-47
  • Busse NMFBM
  • SYKCO 1311
  • Swamp Rat RattleHawk
  • Busse TGLB
  • Busse Leprechaun AD

That covers my bases pretty dang well. :D If I'm really forced to stay within the guidelines, then:

  • Springfield XD in 9mm (18+1 cap)
  • AK-47
  • Busse Hognose War Sword
  • Busse TGLB

But that's a pretty light load out, IMO. Could easily carry a bit more. Another pistol, and other long gun, and another large and small blade easily. Plus, I'd already have a large folding blade in my pocket already. ;)

Just for fun..say you wake up to gunshots near by.. a car skids past your house clipping your mailbox.. you hear sirens all over ..WTF is going on??!!.. you flip on the TV..a total collapse is underway... total anarchy is breaking out all around your city home.. you have to grab your wife, kids and a few supplies an bail to the family ranch in the country..FAST!!
You can only grab :
2 blades
1 handgun
1 long gun
What are those few vital weapons ???

Busse NMFBM
Nathan the Machinist 3V Field Knife
Glock 41 (longslide .45)
Colt M-16 with 20" upper (should be my Springfield M1A1, but...)
