If we could design the next BK, what would it be?

There are many here that have the BK favorite. The 2 borders on immortal, memorial services will be heard throughout the countryside (and beyond) if/when the 5 is ever discontinued - I truly appreciate the handiness of the 15, but it's not my favorite, as i do not have but one favorite BK.

While appreciation does not fully express my affair with the BK15, it cannot be my favorite because it is not as iconic or magnificent as the 2, which is almost in a class of its own. The 5, which makes very short work of potatoes and whole heads of lettuce or cabbage also balances in the hands for fine field-craft such as fuzz sticks and the like. I do not have a favorite BK, I have multiple favorites and fortunately, at the BK&T price point - I can enjoy them, as we all here do.

So, if you were to design the next BK, what features of the existing line would you keep, modify or dispose of? What would be the dimensions? Its mission profiles or profiles?

I love the choiled 2 and the 2-9 combo.
I think a re-vamped and re-released BK6 machete would be pretty cool as well...
How would 1095CV work in that, (machete), application? Would it have to be a different steel? Don't know too much about these things...
 
I would probably buy every single one, geez there would be some eye rolling from the trouble and strife in my house.

Seriously though some bloody nice designs. That Chopper is a monster. I can see that being swung around the chinese restaraunts by the cook.
 
I remember seeing Warrior's design thread before. The vision and skill are one of a kind.

I designed one of those too, but liked the design so much, I didn't post it, and was thinking of having it made.

Great minds thinking alike =)

I'm sure you'll post some pics if it becomes a reality.

In my mind the hatchet would be on the shorter side otherwise it might look weird with the classic Becker handle.
 
We can only hope for some The Warrior Series limited production runs!
 
We could always bring back the committee designed BK8 and start sawing open helicopters. :D
 
Would luv a "BK2+" with medium jimping.

The "Tanto BK" is interesting and I have been thinking about making a "Straight Back Tweener" out of a 15.

Say ... whatever happened to the "BK41 Tomahawk"? ;)
 
The BK2 is my favorite but if it had a 6-1/4" blade, then it would be perfection for me.
