If we could design the next BK ...

A 14 with a longer handle.

A knife between the size of the Remora and the BK11, scandi grind, with an 11 style handle and Izula style blade.

thin down the BK2 to 3/16" and stretch the blade out to a full 6". Either leave it uncoated or make that an option.

A 3/16" BK2 would be an excellent addition.

The first test for any "general purpose knife" is, I am not kidding you - will it readily prepare a PB&J sandwich. After that, just about everything is details.

The BK2 is a stalwart of the Becker range and messing with perfection may be frowned upon but there are times where that side blade, with that blade shape in a lighter package could do very nicely.

Question: would it be a Campanion Light or a BK 1.5?

Now, you've got me thinking - what about a 1/4" BK5?

:excitement::welcoming::fat:

I'd love to see a Becker that fits Bladesports standard requirements for a competition cutter.

10" blade, 15" overall, no more than 2" wide at any point. Front lanyard hole/tube for safety's sake.

Basically a BK-9, only more of it... with Ethan's handle design and perhaps just a couple degrees of "drop" between the blade and tang.

A becker letter opener - seriously. Would be nice to have a Becker everyday use item in the office as well. Obviously not as "the next big design" but somewhere down the road. Just sayin.
