If you could change a dimension or size of any Spyderco model...

If only it was still available in G10/VG-10. However, one of my favorite quotes about the Caly 3.5 came from a member on the factory forum. He said that it was almost a Delica in handle length and almost an Endura in blade length. And he was right in every sense. The 3.5 only has 1/8" more handle the the D4 and only 1/4" less blade than the E4. It's quite possibly the perfect EDC knife and it is still available in G-10.

MaxFisher, you Sir are a Genius.

I completely agree with you about the Caly 3.5. I would actually love to see the Endura in G10 (I missed the last run!). I'm not hung up that it has to be a back-lock design but they certainly work and I can still flick them open.

Not wanting to jump on the thread band-wagon, but I do agree a larger Techno would rock.

3+ inches of actually cutting edge is my sweet-spot for folders.

All JMHO...

Ben

If only there were s larger version of the paramilitary...oh wait there is.

Chalk another for a larger dragonfly. G10/carbon fiber and a compression or bb lock since were fantasizing. Mmm...

I wanted a paramilitary with liner lock and a bit more blade, or 20% smaller military so I modded one as close as I could myself

Nice, did you re-locate the lanyard tube?

Yep moved the lanyard forward and shortened the handle just enough to remove the old lanyard hole in the scale,
I should get a picture next to an un modded military

Rusty351,

That trimmed down Military looks awesome. I much prefer the handle to blade ratio on yours - nice work!

Now if only it was drilled for tip up carry too...

Cheers!

Ben

Nice!!
I'll have to drill mine for tip up one day, did you just locktite the screws into the g10?

How have you found the cruwear compared to say s30v?

Take a 1/2" off the starmate that will get it down to 3" then get rid of the liner lock and put in a lock back. Make it in Golden and that would be my dream knife. And also make the g10 a little thicker.

A 2.5" blade Jester. Would be a perfect companion to it's smaller counterpart on my key chain.

This but 3.5 + or a drop point UKPK with a 3.5+ and sorry I know you said no design change. Its got to lock. I want to really use it so it has to safely replace what I already carry. G10 versions of course. Golden made.
