What would it be and from what maker (Bose knives don't count in this thread because that's a given). Mine would be some type of whittler from Ryu with some of that rockin stag he finds.
That's a tough one , I had the option of either going to Blade or getting a custom.
I chose the custom , have a Ken Erickson due in within a week or so.
i'm sure that Erickson is a great knife and will more than make up for not going to blade. Guess I'll rephrase my question...is there any particular knife that you are going to blade to find?
A Kerry Hampton would be a great score,I'll be looking at John Howser's knives, and Wayne Hendrix.
I'm going more for the "Blade experiecne" rather than to purchase, but the Bose drawing is the main event for me.
If I could get any knife I want at the Blade Show. I would like to find a Left Hand Mayo. Had one on order for the show but Tom's injury will delay delivery.
Put me down for the only person not looking for a Bose. Larry
I have a couple of early Don Hanson (Sunfish Forge) knives. I'd love to have one of his new knives for contrast, a large Bowie pattern like those seen here: http://www.sunfishforge.com/hansonbowiegallery.html
Beautiful lines, exotic and rare materials, and incredible Damascus patterns...
Maybe if Blade '09 is held in Northern New Mexico and I start saving now...
