Im curious as to why? I own a 204p 0562cf and love it. Is it the exclusivity of having one with an m390 blade (same as 204p)? Just curious because alot of these made it into the wild and saw one on the exchange for 300+ and laughed out loud. Nothing bad meant here, im seriously asking why m390 if you can attain a 204p model? I love ZT products and am glad they got the supply issue under control by switching to 204pI already have several ZT's and love them all.
if I could get one for free right now, it would be a ZT0562CF with M390 blade.

Simple - it's is because I have a plethora of knives and m390 is one of my favorite steel. I just know exactly how it performs and sharpens.
Unfortunately I have no experience with 204p so I cannot comment on that steel.
And price shouldn't be an issue. Why? Because I'm simply answering the OP question with an honest answer. If you ask me "What Zero Tolerance folder would you get if money was not in the equation?" - I'll request the super steel, every time. You'd be stupid not to if you don't pay for it![]()
Not to be a steel prude, but Bohler M390 and Carpenter 204P are relatively the same steel in composition, as is CPM-20CV.

So... What you're telling me is I need one of each "just in case", right?

Have a 770cfM4 and love it. Would like a stronger detent soni could deassist it though. To answer the OP, I would think a 392 would suit me just fine.
Thats exactley what were telling you![]()
