If you could only buy ONE new knife...

Survive Knives GSO series 5.1 in CPM-3V. That would do it.
Sorta like a Bk5 on steroids...
 
If the catch was that I could only use that knife, I'd pass on the opportunity to have any knife I wanted and keep using all the Knives I have...
 
Backpacking/Camping etc.- Kullervo Puukko or similar Puukko with Bark handle
EDC - Ferrum Forge Mini Radeon
Dress up - Dammy Mnandi with basically any of the inlays
Campus - Mcnees Killer B
Work - G10 Native

I may have cheated, but this is keeping me from studying so I had to make it last, ha

I find that I have a US made Kershaw Zing in my pocket most of the time. However, sometimes it's 3 inch blade is a little short for my needs. My 3 1/2 -4 inch knives are a little bulky for office use so, a 3 1/4 inch folder might be in order. It would give me a slightly larger blade without the bulk of something like my Prowler or full size Grip. My vote goes to the Benchmade Volli for my EDC folder. If I can dream, then things change and I am looking at an Insingo of some sort.
 
I'd take a brand new Strider SMF-GG tanto in PD1 with some crazy cerakote color that they would only do one of like a lime green or something.
 
Phil Wilson Southfork. Best all purpose knife I own. I use it to clean fish, as a boat knife, in the kitchen...if it was the only one i had it would work for edc too.
 
Presently carry an Explorer Plus SAK supplemented by a Buck 110 as needed. If I had to use only one knife I'd probably go with the Victorinox Trekker.

Excellent Choice Leftytwogunz.

I'd take a Mick Strider Custom SMF in Carbon Fiber CC with perfect fit, finish and function. And oh yeah, S110v. After that, I could probably sell all my other folders. (Except for my office use Mnandi that is)
Strider does offer all of these options, just don't know if they'll ever make it all on the same knife. Probably have to place a custom order..

solid choice except Mick doesn't do orders unfortunately, I have the one pictured, it is a smooth knife for a production.

Very cool @Hauling! I want one so bad.. All I can do is keep lurking on all the Strider dealer sites and hope I find one. Congrats to you for finding the perfect knife!
 
I want to buy the Spyderco ROC folder, but it's not out yet. Aside from that, I'm a huge fan of my 940. I'd prob go that route.
