I’m with Lorien on rules/mores, however I will abide with TG’s edict. Light Chopper all the way. Unless I ground it into an EDC.

It’s a close call between the HDFK and FK for me.
The FK is obviously more carry friendly, but I ended up voting for the HDFK. It’s such a versatile tool!

got my EDC on my belt every day, but always carry my FK in the woods. But...when I'm in the woods, my LC is indispensible, except for the big stuff, where the HC is my go to knife. If those knives are too big, and the FK is too small, then it's the HDFK.

I'm starting to realize that the question is ridiculous, and I think I'll have to stand by my original statement

That is a TOUGH one! I almost said HDFK, because it is quite a good chopper, but had to go with light chopper, because I use my choppers/machetes much more than my smaller knives. HDFK is probably the best "do everything" blade on that list though.

I think I’d go for a single edge UF ? Even though I don’t own one currently. For some reason I just see that knife as great middle ground between HDFK and FK ? It just seems it would make a great multi use blade

I love the FK but I have folders that size and the RLC is so nuts good and capable I can’t say no.

Well I wish I had more options in hand to make a choice but so far only the EDC2s have been acquired ...

I definately have the HDFK and FK or DEK on my radar so hopefully this year I can add a couple others to be able to chose a favorite.

Haven't had a chance to play with them all yet, but I voted for the LC.

As much as I like the FK, I always have a folder that covers the 3-4" blade range. I like the versatility and utility of a large camp knife, and would REALLY like to get an MC, but until I've had a chance to try one, LC it is.

Likewise, I think I might prefer the UF to a FK, but I'd need to get my hands on one first.

Having only owned three of his models; the LC, EDC2 and HDFK...I can say without a doubt the HDFK is it for me. I consider it damn near perfect.

Great idea for a thread. However, the poll results won’t be complete because so many CPK enthusiasts have so few models in hand. I had to vote EDC because mine gets carried/handled every day.

I sincerely look forward to the possibility that I get to experience more CPKs in their intended environment! Then I’ll be a better informed voter.

For me it is the EDC2. Perfect size, great ergonomics, great blade shape. I had an EDC 1, but the 2 I liked even better.

This poll was never intended to be complete, because many of the Models or choices May NEVER be offered again! I fully expected the HDFK, LC, and FK to be the most popular because of their Availability!
