I think I might have to second this pick here, albeit I'd add a slight caveat that my choice would be for the Choilless Basic 10... just about perfect blend of length/weight/thickness to be a VERY versatile tool in just about any application. The only downside, it's not easily carried on a belt so it's only backpack carry for me.

That’s a tough question. I like smaller knives I can carry anywhere because I live in the city. So my Lil ugly is my favorite smaller busse and nothing comes close to the handle shape imo. I would love to see a new infi version. But In a survival situation I would have to pick an ash-1.
