If you could only have one Busse....

I only have a Sus Scrofa but what I really want is a Boss Street and I hope to have one with in the next two weeks.

The Folder would be a great option,

but I saw some desert storm fighters with nuclear spines, snakeskin scales, and smooth bolts that ould be just awesome. Only 6 were made, and they are just AMAZING!!

Thats a tuff one, i love my SFNO in the woods , but i really, really like my
sar8 also.
i didn't see the SAR8 mentioned , so i'm guessing nobody has put one to the test, i use mine alot and its an awesome all around knife in the woods. If you got one go beat it you'll love it!

Still the SFNO for me. Carries easy and can slice and chop. NMSFNO close second.

For me Infi works best in a chopping knife .... it does'nt chip out and can be steeled back into alignment if you hit a stone .... it sharpens easily in the field too .... and there are many good designs for chopping blades in the Busse line up.

For field sharpening the Asymetrical Grind is the easiest and it holds a very sharp edge a long time ..... in my experience Infi rolls on the edge through use before it dulls if you take it to a fine V edge or a zero convex or simple convex edge .... the factory angles won't .... but they are hard to get a very sharp edge on .... so if you take the edge down to say 30 degrees inclusive you have the razor sharpness but it needs stropping to avoid the effects of rolling .... a secondary micro bevel at 40 degrees inclusive can help on this .... but to avoid "rolling" and keeping a very sharp edge for a long time the ASM Grind works best of all in my experience.

So for me the ASM B11 is probably the Busse I would have if I could only have one.....

That or I re-grind the edge on my Nuclear TTKZ which is a flat grind and not a zero convex grind blade .... so I could re-profile the edge ..... or send it in for Jerry to do .... then that would probably be my favourite as it chops better.

That depends on how much you've got to spend on your particular Busse and what your taste or use is going to be. For me it would be a SHBM or SHSH-II. But there is such a wide array to choose from. Good luck with your decision Busse's are like potato chips its hard to stop at just one. ;) Or one of these

If you could only have one Busse which one would it be? I've been looking through the for sale forums for weeks trying to decide which Busse should be my first and I can't decide which one I want.

That's easy: The one that I don't already own.

It's looking like the NMSFNO for me this week.

Good luck.
